Privacy Policy
Who we are and what this policy covers
Metolius LLC operates the Lockhouse Data marketing website at lockhousedata.com (“Lockhouse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy describes information handled in connection with Website visits, introductory inquiries, and meeting bookings. Metolius LLC is responsible for determining how that information is used.
This policy does not govern customer data connected to the Lockhouse platform or processed during a trial or implementation. Separate customer agreements and applicable data-processing terms address those activities. The Website’s animated examples use fictional information and do not connect to a visitor’s business systems.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you email us or book a meeting, we receive the details you provide, which may include your name, business email, company, role, phone number, availability, and the content of your inquiry. Please do not include sensitive personal information, credentials, or confidential customer records in introductory messages.
Technical information. Our hosting and security providers may process technical information, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and request timing, to deliver and protect the Website. We use Ploy’s built-in analytics to collect page views, sessions, referral sources, browser and device details, and interactions such as clicks and scroll depth.
Visitor identification. We use Ploy’s visitor enrichment to associate some visits with companies or individuals. Ploy and its enrichment providers may combine online identifiers and visit information with other data to provide business contact and company details, such as names, work email addresses, roles, and company information. Matches may be incomplete or inaccurate.
How we use information
We use Website information to operate and protect the Website, respond to inquiries, arrange meetings, understand visitor interest, improve our content, evaluate inquiries about Lockhouse, and identify prospective business customers. Any use for direct marketing must respect applicable consent and objection requirements.
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for activities that require it; our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Website, responding to business inquiries where those interests do not override your rights; steps you request before entering a contract; and compliance with legal obligations. We do not treat visiting the Website as consent to every use of personal information.
Cookies and local storage
Ploy’s built-in analytics and visitor enrichment are enabled for this Website. Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel are also enabled as optional analytics and advertising destinations through Ploy. Google Analytics helps us measure visits and interactions; Meta Pixel helps us measure advertising performance. These providers may receive browser identifiers, device information, page views, and interactions when you accept the optional tags. Our hosting and security providers may still use cookies or similar mechanisms to deliver and protect the Website.
Ploy uses a first-party cookie called ploy_anon_id, with a stated lifetime of one year, and browser local storage to recognize browsers and measure visits and interactions. Its native analytics and visitor tracking may begin when a page loads, before a banner choice, and continue after you decline third-party tags. Ploy does not currently provide a supported per-visitor consent control for these native features.
Third-party tag preferences. Our cookie banner lets you accept or decline Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel. These tags are denied by default until you accept. You can continue browsing without making a choice; doing so does not accept these tags. To choose again, clear this Website’s local storage in your browser settings and reload the page. We store your choice in your browser’s local storage under lockhouse-third-party-consent-v1; it remains until you change it or clear that storage. Your choice is specific to that browser and website address.
The banner does not control Ploy’s built-in analytics or visitor identification. Those features are controlled separately by our site settings. Declining third-party tags does not delete information previously collected or necessarily remove existing third-party cookies. You may clear cookies through your browser and contact us about deletion requests.
Browser settings let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Booking links open Calendly on a separate website, where Calendly’s privacy and cookie practices apply.
Who receives information
We use Ploy to host the Website, measure visits, and enrich visitor information. Ploy uses subprocessors for these services; its Trust Center lists GetEmails for visitor identification. See Ploy’s subprocessor list for provider information. Meeting-booking links open Calendly, which processes booking information under its own privacy policy and provides meeting details to us. Providers supporting our business communications may process inquiries and correspondence. These providers’ involvement is limited by the services they perform and the applicable agreements.
When you accept optional tags, Google and Meta receive Website event information through their respective tags. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy for how they handle information.
We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, or the Website; to obtain professional advice; or in connection with a merger, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable legal protections.
For provider information, see Ploy’s Privacy Policy and Calendly’s Privacy Notice. Their notices do not replace our responsibilities for information we control.
Retention and international processing
For prospect inquiries that do not become customer relationships, we delete inquiry records after 12 months without meaningful contact, unless retention is required to meet legal obligations. Analytics and enrichment records are handled separately under our provider’s retention settings and practices; the 12-month inquiry rule is not a statement of their automatic retention period. We consider the purpose of the records, operational needs, and legal obligations when determining retention and handling deletion requests. The lifetime of a browser cookie is not a promise that related server records are deleted at the same time.
We are based in the United States. Ploy states that customer data is stored and processed in the United States (Central). Information may also be processed in other countries where our providers operate; those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguards, those requirements must be satisfied for the relevant processing.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact info@lockhousedata.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with you, to object to visitor profiling or marketing, or to ask questions about our practices. We may need proportionate information to verify a request and locate the relevant records. Please do not email identity documents unless we arrange a secure method with you.
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have additional rights to restrict processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing, opt out of certain processing, appeal a decision on a request, or complain to a data-protection authority. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions. We will address requests as required by applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
You can ask us to stop marketing messages by contacting us or using an unsubscribe option provided in a message. This does not prevent necessary replies to your inquiries or legally required communications.
Children, security, and updates
The Website is intended for business audiences, not children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and address it.
See our Security Statement for the scope of Website security information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as practices change, revise the date shown on this page, and provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.
